Ajani Nosakhere

Ajani Nosakhere is a self-taught weaver and fabric artist with over 26 years at the loom, owner of Woven Accomack, originally from the Southeast and based in Kansas City, Ajani draws from Afro-Indigenous traditions and the natural world.

Coming from a lineage of both artists and textile workers, their practice and textile teaching is a continuation and evolution of a nearly forgotten art.
